Together with her husband, Cristian Scalco, Amanda runs Wood Restaurant in Cervinia, nestled at the foot of the Matterhorn in the Italian Alps. In November 2023, Wood was awarded its first Michelin star and has since attracted food lovers from around the world.
Born and raised in Älvsbyn, Amanda combines the flavours and ingredients that shaped her upbringing with Italian culinary traditions and influences from Asian cuisine. Working with the finest seasonal ingredients, exceptional precision and a distinctive personal style, she creates dishes that both surprise and inspire.
Guests may also enjoy an exclusive wine pairing featuring carefully selected Italian wines handpicked by Cristian. Each wine has been chosen to complement the evening’s menu and create a harmonious dining experience where food and wine come together in perfect balance.
